paragraph 1The weight project was very simple. All we had to do was make weight out of anything and be creative, after we just have to write an essay on the weight and how we will use the weight. The materials I used were a empty 2 liter soda bottle and water. I could've been more creative but i thought this was enough. The bottle had good weight to it when using the water. |
paragraph 2 I chose to fill the bottle with water because it was good enough weight for me in my liking because after a while your arms get tired holding it. With the time I had with the weight it had a nice weight to it because when I did workouts with it did add resistance to whatever i'm working on if it were my legs or my arms. If added more weight to it I feel it would add more resistance but it wasn't needed it was good the way it was for me. Also you could balance the water since its see through so all the weight doesn't go to one side of the bottle so you can work your body more. |
Paragraph 3There are many workouts with this weight like with biceps you can use it to add resistance and get stronger with your arms. You can also do lunges and work with your quadriceps in your legs. If you put weight on your body for any workout it adds resistance which weighs you down so when you don't have the weight on you you become more efficient with the workout. For example if you run with weight vest the vest weighs you down and slows you down and makes you slower but when you finish your workout the vest without the vest you get faster because you don't have the resistance while running. |
